Activities
We plan and lead
weekly group rides. Weekly route details are available at our Yahoo
Group Site: ExchangeCycleTours.
We plan
and lead self-supported bike
tours.
We offer bike repair classes in public schools,
and at partner sites like Meticon Bikes (5925 SE Foster Rd).
We operate the
Community
Exchange Bike School as a public
service, and in addition to our free clinics we provide low-cost maintenance training.
We have created
and published bicycle
mechanics' training curriculum,
part of which is online as a public service. The complete
curriculum is available for sale on CD (details forthcoming)
We refurbish
donated bikes and recycle them back
into the community through sales and by responsibly recycling bikes that for whatever
reason cannot be sold.
We partner with several other
non-profit organizations such as the Community Cycling
Center and Umbrella
.
